Looking at character development in a story is an important skill for students to learn. In this product, students will create a WANTED poster for a character in the novel Charlotte's Web, by E.B. White. Since it's a WANTED poster , the character chosen should be one that would be wanted for something. Depending on your students' levels, you may want to do a character analysis whole group, and discuss different things that characters have done. In this product, I have one WANTED poster with the name Avery Arable on it, one with the name Templeton, and one that does not have a name. That way students can choose another character if you'd like them to. Charlotte's Web is usually read by students in 2nd through 4th grade. Depending on your students' abilities, you could have them complete more than one WANTED poster . You could also have students complete them as a group. These would be a great activity to hang up on your classroom walls.
