Some of the required information to find include: Kingdom Phylum Scientific name: Coloration Beak color; Lifespan Clutch size Habitat Diet Wingspan Mass Conservation status: Length Additionally, students are asked to Describe the eggs of the Cedar Waxwing bird, describe their tail, and draw a picture of the two birds listed in the resource. Color them in. List their scientific name. (Draw their closest relative the Bohemian Waxwing). Students can present their findings in different ways: Oral presentation, posters, digital slides, brochures, etc. And they also can be required to turn in this resource! This is one reason we like to incorporate music in our learning environments. We don’t have to limit music to music class only for our students. The title of this song is “Don’t Be Negative.”This is a song and video that will have students learn about negative numbers. This video provides explanations and many examples to support student learning. You can implement this video at the introduction of teaching this math skill. The objective is for students to develop an understanding of what a negative number is. This would be a song that I play multiple times for my students across the course of this unit .
