Let's Start Reading Volume 1: Animal Activities Packet

This is a Let’s Start Reading Volume 1: Animal Activities Packet. This is a 12-page packet filled with a variety of activities for students to enjoy. On the first 3 pages, students will read each sentence then circle the correct item. -There are 3 boxes on each page. -Within each box, there is a sentence and two pictures to choose from at the end. The sentence frames are: I see a cow. I see a dog. I see a pig. I see a goat. I see a hippo. I see a duck. I see a fish. I see a fox. I see an owl. On the next 3 pages, students will write in the correct words to complete the sentence. it will be a fill in the blank for the students. It will follow the same sentence frame: “I see a horse.” Students will get to practice writing these same words. They will write the name of the animal at the end of the box. On the next 3 pages, students will read each sentence and then draw a line to the correct item. The correct item will be the correct picture of the animal’s name they just read. As a final animal review, students will trace each animal name. You can print and laminate these pages so they can be used over and over again. These pages can be used in small group with the teacher, or they can be used during center times amongst student groups.
