This resource contains everything you need to practice the long e sound. First of all, there is a vocabulary list with 20 long e sound words. You can then test these words with the included vocabulary test. You can also play a variety of vocab games with the included flash cards. Just print them, laminate them, and cut them out. You can decide to use the ones with sharp corners or rounded corners. Games to play could be memory for example. There is also a digital file that can be used to introduce these words. Just launch the PDF file on a computer and flick through the pages. Usually students find this more engaging then the printed out cards. If you really want to have some fun, play the BINGO game. A bunch of different BINGO cards are included in this resource. You can also write wome words down on the blank card yourself.

As with the spelling/vocab section, writing prompts will vary. This includes research pieces, reading responses, poetry and creative writing prompts. Full Answer Keys Full answer keys and sample responses are provided so no matter how busy you are, you know you're covered! Mixed question answers provide evidence from the text, math questions contain the relevant workings. Answers are designed for use by the teacher, but also suitable as a handout to the student.
