Students will listen to an audio recording to learn key vocabulary and concepts related to fashion design and the fashion industry. After the informative audio lesson, students will complete comprehension exercises to demonstrate their understanding of the content. Educators can facilitate whole-group discussions about the audio or have students work independently. The multiple-part lesson plan aims to build students' knowledge of the fashion industry while implementing grammar skills. Answer keys are provided for all student handouts. This versatile resource can be used in the classroom or adapted for distance learning through Google Apps. The fashion-focused lesson provides an engaging way for intermediate students to develop language arts skills. This ESL ELA TEFL lesson plan is started with some new flash cards and a warmer and then followed by learning some vocabulary suitable for the lesson. That's followed by a reading passage and some exercises before students listen to an audio file. The class is finished with another exercise, conversation topics and an activity. If there is time there is an added writing drill and further exercises that can be completed in the classroom or set as homework.
