Children around the age of 3 years and above begin to recognize environmental print, such as street signs, labels, and advertisements. Environmental print allows them to learn important sight words that are commonly seen in the environment. These ABC charts with examples of environmental print A-Z are a great tool for students to combine what they already know with their letter sounds/letter names learning. These ABC charts are great for boosting reading confidence for emerging readers and allows students to begin their academic letter learning in a non intimidating way. What You Get: This is aPlace Value Chart and Hundreds Squarethat was designed for elementary students who are working on or have mastered these skills. It also works well as a review for students. It is a 2-page printable. How To Implement This Resource: You can print off enough copies of these charts for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers when they are using these charts. This is a great tool to place into a math center or small group activity. The Place Value Chart consists of 7 rows. The first row starts at 0.001 and ends at 0.009. The final row starts at 1,000 and ends at 9,000. The Hundreds Square consists of numbers 1 – 100.
