Teaching tips & learning objectives
Learning objectives
- Choose the correct verb form to complete a sentence, including subject-verb agreement (has/have, goes/go)

- Distinguish verbs from nouns and other word classes
- Use the correct irregular past-tense form (fell rather than falled)

Teaching tips

- Print the included answer sheet grid so students record answers as you click through, then reveal the answers section afterwards.
- In the answers section the correct choice is shown on the slide rather than written out as text, so preview it before teaching if you plan to print rather than project.
- The last slides are vendor promotion - drop them from your copy before showing the deck to a class.
