This ready-to-print set of 5 stations or math centres will supplement a middle school geometry unit about fraction operations: including adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators and multiplying and dividing proper and improper fractions. I have included lots of real-life examples such as recipes, time, and portions of food, along with lots of visual representations and diagrams for the four operations. Math stations are an excellent way to get students engaged as they move about the room and work cooperatively with their peers. Even when students are in intermediate grades, they benefit from a variety of teaching strategies including the use of stations to make math class more interactive.
