This 'ch, sh, th, ng PowerPoint is a taught lesson especially suitable for those who have special needs or need a slower pace. Special features of the PowerPoint lesson Totally phonetic No guessing! REAL READING! These lessons are intended to be watched with a teacher. These lessons conform to the standards of the phonics component of the UK Gov. National Curriculum for English. This PowerPoint is one of a series, teaching phonics systematically, to enable every child to succeed. No words are introduced that cannot be sounded out, except common the sight words. It does however presume that the child can blend both CVC words and consonant blend words with a short vowel sound, like pond. These have been taught in previous lessons. There are no distractions for the special needs child to have to 'block out' before s/he can learn - no jingly music, no comic pictures. Nothing moves quickly. Everything is explained very simply. Sound buttons are provided for use if necessary. What is included in/with the sh, ch, th, ng PowerPoint? This 'ck' PowerPoint is a narrated lesson. The PowerPoint format means that you can go at a pace suitable for your pupils. It is just like having your own phonics teacher! How can the sh, ch, th, ng PowerPoint be used?
