This letter J beginning sound game is an interactive way for students to work on words that begin with the letter J. This alphabet game provides students with a fun way to practice on the initial sound of the letter J. The game focuses on the most common sound of the initial /j/ sound. What is Included: * One color gameboard * One black and white gameboard What do you need to play: * One of the gameboards * A die * Something to mark the inner spaces with * A player piece to move around the edge of the board This game can be a single player or a two player game. To play, students will need one gameboard, one die, 20 objects to mark the inner part of the game board, and a game piece for each student playing. First, a student will roll the die and move his game piece around the outside of the board. The student will then cover the corresponding picture in the middle of the game board. The winner or end of game can be determined by one of the following rules below, depending on if the student is playing alone or with a partner. This is a Let's Talk About School Board Game. All you have to do is print this game board and grab a pair of dice. The game board can be printed in color or black and white. This simple game board is great for your English-speaking students and your ESL students who are building their language skills in the English language. Students can work in pairs or groups of 3-4. You can also pull students in a small group with you to better assess their progress and mastery. These board games are great because they come in a variety of themes and topics, so students will be able to increase their vocabulary. You can choose to do a few different activities when you use these board games : 1.Students can take turns rolling the dice. They will move that many places on the board. Whatever space they land on, they can read the question out loud and answer it verbally with their partner or group. 2.Same as number 1, but the partner can answer the question instead of the person who rolled the dice. 3.Same as number 1, but both partners (or everybody in the group) can write their answer down on paper. 4.Same as number 1, but students can practice writing down the question and their individual answer to the question. If you choose to make it a competition, then whoever reaches the end of the board first wins!

Repeated exposure is necessary for vocabulary retention. In addition, a QR code has been provided in the instructions. These AG Word Family Dice Games are the perfect way to practice blending onset and rime, as well as reading and writing CVC words. These dice games make a great literacy center or phonics station for students who are learning AG words. What is Included: This resource contains 2 different dice designs, one for spelling words and one with the target word family pictures.. There are 4 game boards to use with each set of dice. There is a grid page with words to color or cover, a graphing page to roll and color, a tracing page to roll and trace the correct word, and well as a roll and write page. Where to Use these Dice Games: Literacy Center Phonics Center Independent Practice Small Group Activity Partner Game Writing Center To play these dice games, students will roll the die or dice then color, cover, trace or write the AG word or picture that was rolled. These activities are differentiated so that students who need more support can also be successful with this word family center. More Ways to Use these Dice Games: For a single player game, students can use the tracing worksheets to trace the word or picture rolled. For a single player game, students can use the grid worksheets to color or cover the word or picture rolled. For a single player game, students can create a graph by rolling the dice a set number of times, then filling in the blank grid squares. For a partner game, students can play Three in a Row. They just need to be printed out and put in the center or station you wish to use them in. The dice will need to be assembled. You will need to print them out on card stock or other heavy weight paper, cut, fold and tape together. The mats can be laminated to make them reusable, especially of you need to save paper. Dry erase markers can be used on the writing and tracing mats.

This Mesozoic creatures memory game is the perfect complement to a Dinosaur or Paleontology Unit Study. It will help your students memorize and review a few dinosaurs in a fun way. How to Use This Resource: Cut apart all the cards. Then lightly glue each back to a front. Run through a laminator and then cut apart each pieces. Lay pieces flat and upside down. Take turns with your students to turn over 2 at a time. When you find a match, you get to keep the match. When all the cards have been turned over and matched up, then the game is over. The winner is the one who has found the most matches. Not only do these cards feature pictures of Mesozoic creatures, but they also have the corresponding word printed underneath each picture. They will get to work their brains to try and remember where they saw a certain image, but they will also be able to retrieve where they saw a certain word.
