Chemical Reaction Bingo Vocabulary Game

Chemical Reaction Bingo Vocabulary Game
Science, Chemistry, Grade 6, 7, 8, Activities, Games

Chemical Reaction Bingo is an engaging vocabulary review game for middle school science students learning about chemical reactions. This printable bingo game can be used to review key chemistry terms and definitions in a whole group setting. To play, students are given bingo cards with different chemical reaction vocabulary terms. The teacher then reads aloud definitions, and students find the matching term on their card and mark it. The first student to mark five vocabulary words in a row and shout "Bingo!" wins. This game allows students to review concepts like reactants, products, combustion, endothermic, and more in an interactive way. The bingo cards can be laminated and reused, making this a versatile resource for reviewing chemical reactions. This activity works well as a test prep game , end-of-unit review, or sub plan.

Lunch time procedures and cafeteria expectations can be overwhelming for some students. That's why this Eating Lunch at School Social Story is an invaluable tool for easing anxiety and promoting skills. Using a warm, straightforward approach, this social story walks children step-by-step through the lunch routine. It covers waiting in line, getting a tray, selecting food, carrying the tray to a table, eating politely, cleaning up, and asking for help. With its therapeutic tone and real-world advice, this social story removes fear of the unknown. Teachers can review it with individuals or small groups to set expectations and practice target skills like waiting patiently, speaking manners and following multi-step directions. The clear explanations and supportive tone build confidence in even the most apprehensive students. This Eating Lunch at School Social Story fosters inclusion, independence and social awareness. It is ideal for special education teachers, counselors, social workers and parents supporting neurodiverse learners or students with behavioral challenges. Provide this story before the first lunch period to curb anxiety and set students up for cafeteria success!
