Students, for example, can work in groups, with each group assigned a different theme to analyze. Alternatively, the teacher can assign different themes to students to analyze independently. Then, have students form groups with others who are working on the same theme (imagine a jigsaw collaboration). This theme study gives you the freedom to let students study independently or collaboratively. ⭐ You may also like: ⭐ ◾ https://teachsimple.com/product/the-graveyard-book-novel-study-unit ◾ https://teachsimple.com/product/grace-hopper-queen-of-computer-code-book-companion ◾ https://teachsimple.com/product/boycott-blues-picture-book-read-aloud ◾ https://teachsimple.com/product/file-folder-game-at-the-beach-beginning-consonant-digraphs Be sure to check out my storefront here: https://teachsimple.com/contributor/creatively-gifted

Letter N Playdough Mats allow students to build fine motor skills while learning about words starting with N. This 3-page set features clear images of items starting with N, like a nut, the number nine, and a nest. Students mold playdough directly on the laminated mats to form the pictured items. Teachers can implement these no-prep mats in learning centers focused on fine motor, literacy, independent work, and more. As students sculpt playdough, they practice color matching, letter recognition, beginning sounds, and fine motor control. The durable laminated mats are reusable across school years. If lamination isn't possible, place pages in plastic sleeves. When set up with playdough, these engaging mats help young learners associate the letter N sound with familiar nouns. Preschool and kindergarten teachers will appreciate the versatility and ease of this phonics activity.
