Are you looking for fun activities for practicing number recognition? These pixel art worksheets are perfect for getting your students to practice number identification for the numbers 1-8! Different options for how to use this resource: Cut and paste You can choose to print the colour square pages on white paper. -This is the simplest option, but it will take a lot of colour ink. Or you can choose to print the black line squares pages on colour paper. -This will use a lot less ink, but it will take a little more work to prepare. -You may struggle to find colour paper in all the colours I have used. If you have a problem finding the right colours, you can generally substitute a different colour if you need to. Simply look at the answer key to see what the pictures are and choose an appropriate substitute colour. Colour by number You will only need to print the worksheets and allow the students to colour the squares themselves. Preparation: Worksheets 3 printing options: 1. Full colour - best if you will be able to use all the same colours that I have used. 2. Partial colour – I have left the colours blank. You will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . This is best if you need to make some substitutions because you are printing on colour paper and cannot find all the correct colours. 3. Included Materials: Five different colored bingo boards (alternative version in black and white) Four distinct sets of calling cards (featuring fraction circles, squares, strips and symbols) Preparation: Loading the game requires printing and laminating sufficient bingo boards per student. There's an optional step to print various cut-outs like playing cards or manipulatives. Laminating materials helps guarantee durability. If minimizing printing is desired, use buttons or counters as replacement for playing squares. To Play: Each student needs a board and a minimum of seven manipulatives. A card is drawn from shuffled calling cards pile then announced its contents out loud while visually displaying it—for players to find a match on their Bingo Board! Note: each turn only permits one block coverage—once covered it cannot be changed until next turn. Tips: A winning streak hits when someone calls BINGO! upon securing three-block coverups arranged either vertically, horizontally or diagonally on their board!
