Activity Introduction An amazing activity designed for the fascinating students to learn the anatomy of the skull inside our skeletal system. The Human Skull The skull is the topmost section of the human skeleton. It is on top of the spinal column and makes up the underlying structure of the head. It connects to the bones of the spine at the neck. The bones of the skull prevent injury to the delicate tissue of nerves and the brain. In addition, the skull supports the muscle and nerve framework for the face. Paper Plate Skull Activity The activity is designed to Elevate both eagerness for learning and creativity for kids. Students will have fun creating the human skull, while learning the importance of the skeletal system. Bones Count This friendly designed worksheet is suitable for students at school, homeschooling, and as a group activity. Instructions Cut the bottom part from the plate horizontally. Cut out a circle shape and a heart shape from the black construction paper, then glue them onto the plate. Cut out 4 squares from the white construction paper. Write an interesting fact about skulls on each piece. Glue the squares to the plate as shown below. Decorate the skulls if you want.
