It mainly teaches reading, but while doing so can help to strengthen a weak reader. Reading Made Simple is a programme of phonics instruction that aims to make reading easier for everyone. This programme will give you all the tools you need to help a child gain confidence as a reader and/or writer, using phonics instruction. It is popular amongst homeschooling families, but can equally be used by private tutors and is simple enough to be used to supplement school work by parents.
