Then, test their sight word knowledge by opening up the digital fill in the blanks exercise. It works in the same way. Look at each question and press the right arrow key to reveal the answer. Do this for the entire quiz. Again, students can do this by themselves as well. If you would prefer to do this test on paper, no problem! This resource is a comprehensive lesson that uses 20 app-related vocabulary words. First off, you can introduce these words by using the PDF -based presentation. With the arrow keys, you just move from one word to another to make your students familiar with them. Next, You can hand out the vocabulary lists. Beware that these are made with color, so in order to be eco-friendly you might want to use black and white ink. Once the students have taken these lists home, they can do the vocabulary test in their next class. They can practice with the words by utilizing the included flash cards. These just need to be printed, laminated, and cut. Beware of sharp edges though. You can use the curved edges version to avoid annoying pinches. Finally, use the Wacky Words activity to have a really good time in class. With this, all the letters are mixed up. Students love this.

These letter R reading rings are great for students learning the beginning sound of the letter R. These reading rings give students simple sentences to introduce them to reading in the format of "R is for ____." What is Included: Letter R Reading Ring cover card Letter R reading ring cards The reading rings are available in color and in black and white These reading rings are suitable for preschool and kindergarten students who are learning the initial sound of the letter R and are ready to begin reading simple sentences. The large, bold, and easy to recognize images will lead students towards success as they take the first steps to reading independently. When to Use: Literacy Centers - These cards work well in a literacy or reading center for students to read independently or with a partner. Small Group Activity - The teacher can pull aside a small group of students who need extra practice with the target sound to use these cards. Early Finisher Task - If students finish a task early, they can grab these cards to look at and read. Take Home Book - The black and white pages can be sent home for students to make their own letter sound book. This rings are easy to create. The teacher just needs to print each page, laminate each card (if desired) and then, using a hole punch, the teacher needs to place a hold in the indicated corner of the card. The cards are then placed on a ring for students to flip through each letter R card. Allow students to independently practice blending and reading words with these vowel team Word Read and Reveal Cards! Teachers will love the independent nature of these cards! The self-correcting feature on the cards allow students to check their reading. What is Included: There are 8 long U vowel sound words included in this packet. Included in the packet are illustrated directions on how to put the cards together. The vowel teams included in this set are: EW, UI, and UE. How to Use: Students will get a card for the pile. Students will practice reading the word on the card, using the dots and arrows as a finger guide to reading the word. Once they feel confident that they know the word they read, they will open the card to reveal a picture of the word they read. When to Use: Literacy Center - Students can work independently or with a partner to read these words Morning Tub or Basket - The cards can be placed in a morning bin for students to work on as students arrive to class. Small Group Activity - The teacher can choose a small group of students or a specific group of words for students to work on in a small group setting with the teacher. The fact that the teacher can easily choose which words to include inside a center or activity, allows the teacher to easily differentiate this activity for her students. The bold, colorful, easy to recognize pictures allow students to complete this center independently, by providing pictures they should already recognize that match the words they are practicing to read. The cards do require some prep work to put together, but once created, they will provide a long term center or activity for your classroom. They need to be printed, cut apart and folding into thirds to create the read and reveal nature of this activity.

These letter V reading rings are great for students learning the beginning sound of the letter V. These reading rings give students simple sentences to introduce them to reading in the format of "V is for ____." What is Included: Letter V Reading Ring cover card Letter V reading ring cards The reading rings are available in color and in black and white These reading rings are suitable for preschool and kindergarten students who are learning the initial sound of the letter V and are ready to begin reading simple sentences. The large, bold, and easy to recognize images will lead students towards success as they take the first steps to reading independently. When to Use: Literacy Centers - These cards work well in a literacy or reading center for students to read independently or with a partner. Small Group Activity - The teacher can pull aside a small group of students who need extra practice with the target sound to use these cards. Early Finisher Task - If students finish a task early, they can grab these cards to look at and read. Take Home Book - The black and white pages can be sent home for students to make their own letter sound book. This rings are easy to create. The teacher just needs to print each page, laminate each card (if desired) and then, using a hole punch, the teacher needs to place a hold in the indicated corner of the card.
