Personal Safety Boom Deck-Safe, Unsafe and Unwanted Touches with Audio
About This Product
In this Boom deck, students will learn about the 3 types of touching: safe, unsafe, and unwanted. There are 7 information/direction slides and 20 task cards. There is audio on every card. They will also learn about the safety steps if someone tries to touch them inappropriately. Card numbers 4 and 5 show 2 examples each of unwanted (too much tickling and rough wrestling) and unsafe (hitting and pulling hair) touch. The unsafe touch card states "If someone tries to touch your private body parts and it is not to keep you clean and healthy, this is an unsafe touch." There is a picture on every card and besides cards 4 and 5, there is not an image of unsafe or unwanted touches-only the written (with audio) scenario. This deck could be an engaging Smartboard lesson or assigned to students digitally after a personal safety lesson. Download the PDF and click on the image for Boom card access. To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge).
