We are always looking for ways to teach our students new skills. Being able to tailor instruction to their learning styles is just one effective way to increase student engagement and set students up for success. Many of our students, from year to year, are visual and auditory learners. Most children (and even adults) can attest to their ability to better retain information that they have learned through music and song. Because of this, my resources seek to teach students skills through song. This particular resource is aTimes Tables Practice (7s to 9s). This can be used in your math classroom with your 3rd grade students. Included in this resource: --Times Tables Song MP4 video Student will love learning and reviewing this math skill with the many options included here. You can use this video to introduce times tables for 7s to 9s and then use it again to review later on. You may choose to incorporate it into your lesson’s presentation , so it is easily accessible for you. It is a 1-page printable that includes a page of problems to solve and a coloring page. An answer key is not included. How To Implement This Color by Number Activity: You should print off enough copies of the worksheet for each student to have. On the first page, students will multiply the fractions for each problem set on the page. They will go to the bottom of the page and colour the corresponding question number with the correct colour from the table. Have students double check their answers before they begin coloring .
