Crysta accidentally shrinks one of the workers - a boy named Zak. Now as small as a fairy, Zak sees the damage that the company does (and humans do) and helps Crysta stop the company and an evil entity, named Hexxus. Hexxus feeds off pollution that the humans are creating. Many species are introduced throughout the movie and can be used to discuss ecosystems, if needed. These fruit themed number cards are perfect for students who are learning with a fruit theme. They make the perfect tool for students to learn the letters of the number. What is Included: This set includes one number card and one number word card for all numbers up to 20. Ways to Use the Cards: Play a matching game by matching the numbers to their number words. Attach a paper clip to a number card and use a magnetic fishing pole to "catch" the numbers for a fun fishing game. This activity is a Syllable Sort Activity Pack. Pocket Chart Activity Students will say the word and determine if it has 1, 2, or 3 syllables and place it in the correct column. Materials Needed: There are a set of color cards to print as well as a header and column numbers for the pocket chart It is best used with a pocket chart wide enough for three columns. Worksheets: The first worksheet includes pictures for students to look at and determine how many syllables are in the word. The words are one, two or three syllables long. The second worksheet also includes pictures for the students to look at and determine the number of syllables except this time they color in the appropriate number of boxes. Again, the words are one, two or three syllables long. The worksheets can be used for formal assessments, homework, morning work or independent work.
