These dragons are so silly and so much fun for kids to color. As is this entire dragon crafts activity pack. Kids absolutely love these dragons as well with their simple, thick outlines, they are a great way to give your students a break from their work and also be used as a reward for good behavior and an assignment done well. Since so many kids nowadays love dinosaurs and dragons, I thought it would be fun to create a dragon crafts activity pack. The simple drawings are perfect for preschoolers and prereaders. The bookmark designs, which are smaller and more complex, can be enjoyed by older students as well. There are five different dragons on 8.5 x 11 for a total of 10 posters - 5 of the dragons contain a colored example that children can follow to help with color recognition. These do not have a color border. The other 5 dinosaurs are black and white by themselves and contain a colored border. Once colored, the posters can be used to decorate bulletin boards, classrooms, and home refrigerators. They could even be framed and given as gifts! They can be printed and used again and again! In addition, there are 6 double-sided bookmarks with different geometric designs, patterns, and dragon pictures for coloring and printing. Geometry is math, so without realizing it, when your students color in the geometric designs, they are in essence practicing math skills. You can ask your students to identify the shapes and patterns on the bookmarks while they are coloring. You can also teach about shapes and patterns while they are keeping their hands busy coloring them. This can be super helpful in reducing distractibility. The geometric designs are great for developing familiarity with shapes and patterns. Plus, bookmarks make great gifts and encourage reading. The format is pdf downloadable and there are 15 pages, including the cover page. There is no need for an answer key as this dragon craft activity pack is pure fun with a little arts and crafts and math snuck in.

UEFA European Championship 2024 -Football Jerseys Euro 2024 This material includes jerseys featuring national flags in the shape of hearts for all 24 participants of the UEFA European Football Championship 2024. Each jersey comes in both color and black-and-white versions for coloring. Euro 2024 - Decoration: Themed Wall or Board Material: Decorate your themed wall for Euro 24 with the jerseys. You can use them, for example, to visualize the current match schedule or the current rankings of the countries. Simply cut off the flap at the neckline. Pennant Banner: Hang the jerseys as a pennant banner in the classroom. Fold the small flap at the neckline over the string and attach it to the bottom edge. Euro 2024 - Creating Profiles: Attach the front sides of the jerseys with flags to the back of profile templates using the neckline flap to create foldable cards. Football Team: Students can select their favorite team or introduce the team opponents in the tournament groups. Favorite Player: Students choose their favorite football player from Euro 2024, select the corresponding national jersey, and complete the profile about their favorite player. Country Profile: Assign each student one of the participants of Euro 2024. Students research their assigned country and fill out the corresponding country profile. Coelacanth is one of the most popular pieces of evidence that evolutionary scientists use to prove their theory about the age of the earth. But Coelacanth was discovered living in the early 20th century. Not only was this “extinct” fish discovered alive and well, but it was also apparently the same with no major changes compared to the original fossil discovered and dated 65 million years. So, if macroevolution is true, should the coelacanth still be used as evidence of evolution or old age. If so, why are there no apparent changes in this specific animal? These are questions to be pondered by students who read the short article and answer the questions included in the activity. This reading comprehension activity includes the link to the article discussing the discovery and what this might mean to the overall picture painted for the public regarding the evidence. This activity can be used for guided reading as well as increasing vocabulary and practice critically evaluating both sides of a controversial topic: Creation vs Evolution. The answer key is included. Teachers can easily use this as a starting point for deeper research on the subject. In this collaborative poster, the class will come together to create a poster that stands for what each student believes in. The poster has a rainbow with balloons and stars and the quote that is spelled out is "In our class, we are kind and respectful." Each student will get to color a piece of this puzzle. There are 30 pieces. The poster will measure 23 inches height by 35 inches wide. This will be a fun activity for each student to contribute into one large poster. This poster can be posted in the classroom, on the bulletin board on on the door. This poster is great for first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. In this file, you will receive 30 student pages with directions on each page, a full color picture of the outcome, a picture of the black and white version as well as the black and white version that is divided into 30 pieces. In the beginning of the school year, it is important to do activities that build community and shared values. This high school financial literacy project lets your students tackle a real-world budgeting decision families make: should both parents work, or should one stay home to do childcare? Students will use critical-thinking and problem-solving skills as they work with these realistic budgets (single income budget vs dual income budget). This task can show your students in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade how financial literacy and math skills can be incredibly useful in everyday life! How to Use: Print five pages for each student. Go through the first page together and introduce the family in the simulation. Students use the income and income tax information to calculate the net income. Give students time to add up the monthly expenses in each budget (single-income vs dual-income). Discuss what expenses change when both parents work and if those seem reasonable or not. Have students complete the calculations to compare the two budgets on the fourth page. NOTE: In this simulation, there is almost no difference in money left over if both parents work since the extra income is used to pay for childcare, a second car, a cleaner, etc. That does not mean this is always the case! Use the prompts on the fifth page to have a class discussion about this topic. Then, students write their final opinion in a paragraph to sum up their learning. They may have ideas for how to change this budget or scenario to make having both parents work be more financially beneficial. I have included blank spreadsheets as well if you want your students to create their own budgets using salaries and expenses from your geographical area.
