Two ways to do this is by incorporating topics they are interested in and by providing them with hands-on activities. This is a Counting Dinosaurs 1-10 Printable that is great for your preschool and kindergarten students. You can use this to introduce numbers 1-10 or review them for students who have already mastered number identification. It is a 4-page printable. You may choose to print copies of each page for every student to complete. It may also be good to print and laminate and allow students to use dry erase markers to complete. Students will love getting to engage in an activity with an alternative writing tool, such as a dry erase marker. On the first 2 pages, students will count the dinosaurs in each row and trace the number beside the dinosaur(s). The total number of dinosaurs goes to 10.
