Back to School ABC Order Literacy Center

This resource is a Back to School ABC Order Literacy Center.

These cards are great for english learners, your word wall, or this alphabetical order activity.

Students randomly choose 6 word cards. They write the words down in the order that they are chosen to list them in mixed order. (I find that with my first graders, it works better if I have them take a card and write it down before choosing the next card).

Students then arrange the cards so that they are in the correct abc order. After the student has ordered the words, they are written down in the second column on the worksheet.
