About this resource
What's inside this resource
Introduction
Subject-verb agreement is one of those grammar concepts that students seem to "get" in theory but then struggle with the moment they sit down to write. I put this resource together for my own Grade 9 classes after watching students who clearly understood the rule still second-guess themselves mid-sentence — or worse, not notice their errors at all. What they needed wasn't another explanation. They needed reps. A lot of them.
Objective
Students build accuracy and confidence with subject-verb agreement through repeated, varied practice — moving from recognition to application at a comfortable pace.
