This Mosquito Mayhem Opinion Writing is a great project for students to challenge and apply their writing skills as you tackle 2nd grade writing standards.

Students will read 2 different nonfiction books about mosquitoes. They will use their graphic organizer to brainstorm and state their opinions with reasons to support.

Students will be able to develop a rough draft, edit their work and produce a final draft at the end.
