Students will form the correct plural of irregular nouns, including consonant-y-to-ies (baby→babies), f-to-ves (leaf→leaves, wolf→wolves), and fully irregular forms (mouse→mice, tooth→teeth, child→children).
Students will identify the singular form of a given plural noun, including irregular forms like children, mice, and feet.
Students will correct sentences containing an incorrect singular or plural noun, such as changing 'The childs are laughing' to 'The children are laughing.'

Teaching tips

Assign the two conversion lists (singular-to-plural and plural-to-singular) before the multiple-choice section, since several of the same irregular nouns (mouse, child, wolf) reappear across all three.
Use the sentence-correction section as a quick error-spotting warm-up, since each of the seven sentences contains exactly one incorrect noun form to identify and fix.
