Colour a Hen and Chicks
Holiday & Seasonal, Creative Arts, Art, Seasons, Spring, Holidays, Easter, Science, Basic Science, Life Sciences, Animals, Kindergarten, Preschool, Activities, Crafts, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

Here is an original, hand-drawn picture of a hen and chicks for children to colour, either as part of a project on the farm, or as an art activity, or to develop fine motor control. Who is this colouring picture of a Hen and Chicks for? Anybody. Older children will extend the activity further than younger ones, Uses for these colouring sheets Use to make spring cards Use as part of a spring project During work on farm animals Use for a basis for collage work Paint or colour. It is best if children colour the hen and chicks picture following close observation - maybe after a visit to a farm - or from reference books. The study of the natural world is the foundation for the later study of science. The colouring of pictures of natural things, be it plants or animals is more than a pastime activity. It is a means of familiarising young children with these everyday subjects. The colouring of this hen and chicks picture can of course be used as a pastime, or even as part of a creative lesson - the picture looks super made into spring greeting cards of many kinds. But it has the potential to teach much more. The UK National Curriculum for Science expects children to be taught to use the local environment to study plants and animals, throughout the year. What better than to use familiar farm subjects - such as a hen and chicks which is a common theme in springtime to teach much about the natural world? Garden Flowers Clipart Spring Clipart, Summer clipart, ladybug clipart
Holiday & Seasonal, Graphic Arts, Creative Arts, Spring, Seasons, Summer, Not Grade Specific, Classroom Decor, Activities, Drawing Templates & Outlines, Worksheets & Printables

This set came together kind of randomly while I was making materials for a spring topic. I needed different small elements — not только цветы, but also leaves and something extra, so I added a ladybug too. It’s not a huge pack, just a mix of useful pieces that can be combined. There are a few types of flowers here. Some are more like simple daisies, some are more round and layered. I didn’t try to make them perfect or realistic, just something that looks nice and is easy to place on a page. Colors are pretty bright, maybe even a bit too bright, but that actually works better for kids’ worksheets. Also included a few leaves and a stem, so if you want, you can build your own flower or small compositions. I’ve done that a couple of times in my own materials. Everything is PNG with transparent background. I usually just drag and drop without editing. It’s more of a practical set than a “perfect” one, but that was the idea.

Flowers Clipart – Spring Clipart, Summer clipart, Flower Pots PNG

Flowers Clipart – Spring Clipart, Summer clipart, Flower Pots PNG
Holiday & Seasonal, Graphic Arts, Creative Arts, Spring, Seasons, Summer, Not Grade Specific, Classroom Decor, Activities, Drawing Templates & Outlines, Worksheets & Printables

I made this set because I couldn’t find simple flower pot images that actually look good in worksheets. A lot of clipart is either too detailed or just doesn’t fit well when you print it. So I tried to keep these clean and easy to use. There are three different flower pots in the set. They’re not identical — different shapes, different flowers, slightly different colors — so when you use more than one, it doesn’t look repetitive. One has yellow flowers, another one is more pink and purple, and the third one has tulip-style flowers. The lines are pretty clear and bold, so they still look fine even if you resize them smaller. I had printing in mind while making them, because that’s usually where things go wrong with other clipart. Background is transparent, so you can just drop them into whatever you’re making. I mostly use things like this to decorate worksheets or fill empty space a bit, especially for spring themes. Nothing fancy, just something practical that works.

Busy Learning About Patterns Spring Activity is a resource specifically designed to captivate young students while teaching them essential skills. This product majorly emphasizes patterns,, which are crucial for math and reading learning at the preschool and kindergarten levels. We have crafted this resource by incorporating a fun "Spring" theme that keeps the little minds engaged while learning. Engagement plays a key role in enhanced participation, thus accelerating the learning process. Description: This product contains 4 pages of thoughtfully constructed printable activities featuring black & white outlines representing patterned eggs in baskets along with bird or owl images. The core objective of these activities is to help students differentiate patterns better. This makes it the perfect tool for whole-group sessions, as each student can have their printed copies. The alternation could involve printing fewer copies, laminating them for extended use, and then affixing Velcro dots on to cut-out color images making an ideal setup for small group lessons or centers during math or reading time sessions. Main Challenges: Your learners' will enhance their observation skills and thinking ability as they have to match the correct color patterned image shown on subsequent two pages against given black & white outlines. Let's Talk About Spring Board Game

Let's Talk About Spring Board Game
ELA, Holiday & Seasonal, Language Development, ESL, Seasons, Spring, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, Games, Activities

This is a Let's Talk About Spring English / ESL Boardgame. All you have to do is print this game board and grab a pair of dice. The game board can be printed in color or black and white. This simple game board is great for your English-speaking students and your ESL students who are building their language skills in the English language. Students can work in pairs or groups of 3-4. You can also pull students in a small group with you to better assess their progress and mastery. These board games are great because they come in a variety of themes and topics, so students will be able to increase their vocabulary. You can choose to do a few different activities when you use these board games : 1. Students can take turns rolling the dice. They will move that many places on the board. Whatever space they land on, they can read the question out loud and answer it verbally with their partner or group. 2. Same as number 1, but the partner can answer the question instead of the person who rolled the dice. 3. Same as number 1, but both partners (or everybody in the group) can write their answer down on paper. 4. Same as number 1, but students can practice writing down the question and their individual answer to the question. If you choose to make it a competition, then whoever reaches the end of the board first wins! If you like my teaching resources you may want to have a look at my other products. I teach German, English, Spanish and French and I am sure you will find some great inspiration for your classroom. Please don't hesitate to ask for help or send me your feedback. Cheers, Cindy

So grab those colors, follow the numbers, and watch your feathery friend come to life, one shade at a time! Enjoy!

Honor our heroes with some serious color power through our Veteran’s Day Coloring Pages! These pages are the perfect way to salute veterans while showing off your artistic side. We’re talking about an entire lineup of patriotic scenes ready for your crayons, colored pencils, or whatever colorful medium you can dig out of your art drawer. Think waving flags, majestic bald eagles (who obviously have important eagle business), and soldiers that stand as proud as a kid who just colored inside the lines. This isn’t just about coloring; it’s about celebrating the bravery and dedication of those who serve, no boot camp required! Just pick a page, grab some red, white, and blue, and start creating. And if you feel like giving that eagle some rainbow feathers or putting a pair of polka-dot boots on a soldier, well, go for it. This is your chance to salute our veterans with a splash of creativity (and zero push-ups). Perfect for classrooms, homes, or anyone who needs a relaxing moment of patriotic zen, these coloring pages make honoring our vets both meaningful and fun. When you’re done, hang it up proudly! It’s the least we can do to say "thank you" with a side of color. Pdf file includes 6 pages. Enjoy!
