Playing the Game After the titles and information about the game, the first game will begin. Students will be shown a close-up photo of an object and have to guess what it is. Press the = button for the answer and the original photo with word will appear. Press the arrow button to move onto the next question. 6 questions in total. Second game is a memory game. Starting with three pictures and ending up with six, students have ten seconds to observe the pictures on the screen, then need to say the words they remember. The picture page will automatically move on after ten seconds but if you wish to move on yourself quicker then there is an arrow button. In the answer screen, answers will flash if correct, dim if incorrect. Finally game is more like a question and answer, but in two parts. Need an activity for practicing number bonds that will be fun and engaging? These no-prep, self checking cut and paste math puzzles are great for helping students to focus on addition as they do number bonds for number 29. Preparation: Just print and go! There are 2 pages for each number – The main worksheet and a page with puzzle pieces that need to be cut out and pasted on the worksheet. Each student will need a copy of both pages. There is also a “Back of Puzzle Pieces” page. This needs to be printed on the reverse side of all puzzle pieces pages. There are 2 printing options – colour or black and white You can also mix and match the colour and black and white pages. For example, you could print only the puzzle pieces in colour and the worksheet in black and white if you wish. These worksheets are great for: Homework Centers Extra work for early finishers Extra practice for students struggling with Number Sense How Students Use These Worksheets: Students cut out the puzzle pieces and place the pieces with the pictures facing down, so that the numbers on the back are visible. Distributive Property-Greatest Common Factor Card Game This resource is a card game for students to practice using the greatest common factor to write a distributive property expression. Included in this resource are 24 cards in PDF format. That is 6 on each page. Game Directions for this Distributive Property-Greatest Common Factor Card Game: Students should play 2 or 3 to a group. Shuffle the cards and then pass out all cards. Each person should look at his/her own cards and match a factored form to a sum. Don’t let your opponents see your cards. After confirming that your matches are correct with your opponents, place them to the side. Use two books to prop up your cards so that you can see them but your opponents can’t.
