Your students can do the math - you've made sure of that - but will they recognize the terminology used on their state test? Our state test prep review crosswords for 3rd grade math (9 year old math) will help your students master that vocabulary so that they don't freeze at an unfamiliar term during their end of year exams. If your student has test anxiety, this will help them confidently approach academic testing and accurately display all that they've learned for the year.

Our packet covers 80 academic vocabulary terms that are commonly found on tests like the SBAC assessments or California's CAASPP exam. The terms include words such as "estimate", "liquid volume", "product", and other vocabulary that often confuses students when they see it. Students will review 4-5 terms a day and complete a coloring activity for fun afterwards. Do this for the 20 days leading up to a state test, and your students will be ready for their exam. There are 20 pages in all, with 20 answer keys. Perfect for homeschoolers bridging an older curriculum to modern standards, math centers or homework, tutors or intervention specialists, this set is easy to implement and ready to print and go.

Best of all, it's part of a set. We have this for 3rd grade English, too!

You will receive:

A set of 20 crossword puzzles and 20 answer keys, included in a single PDF.
Instructions for implementation.
Coloring activities on each page.

Let us help you plan your end of year test prep today!
