About this resource

What's inside this resource

This five-page clown fish anatomy poster download opens with printing tips from its creator recommending watercolor paper for a tactile finished piece, followed by a terms-of-use section restricting the artwork to personal, family, childcare, club, or the purchaser's own classroom use, and a closing note inviting buyers to tag the creator on Instagram for a prize drawing. The set also includes the fish anatomy poster/diagram itself. The terms of use credit the illustrations to ‘Rebecca Brewster’ under the shop name ‘Fiddlesticks Kids,’ link to that creator's Etsy shop, and state that files may not be altered or resold in their original format without express written consent and additional licensing.

Product description

From the author

A beautiful hand-illustrated watercolor print features a fun little clownfish and its anemone home complete with anatomical labels. Great for learning more about these fascinating creatures, using in nature study, or just as a display print.
There are two poster options (with or without the black labeling lines) and two posters without labels so children can add their own.
To create a lasting and tactile item, I highly recommend printing the file onto watercolor paper. It creates a beautiful finish and looks like you are handling original paintings.

Teaching tips & learning objectives

Teaching tips

  • Print on heavier or textured paper such as watercolor stock if you want the tactile finish the creator recommends for this style of product.

  • Review the printed terms of use before making multiple copies beyond your own classroom, since they restrict reuse without additional licensing.

Skills covered

  • Fish anatomy identification — the poster labels the external parts of a clown fish for student reference.
