article contracté in french exercises with answers
About This Product
Introduction
I created this worksheet set to help my students practice French contracted articles in a simple and clear way. Many learners find it confusing when the prepositions à and de combine with the articles le and les to form au, aux, du, and des. Because these forms appear very often in everyday French, students need regular practice using them in sentences.
This activity pack gives learners several opportunities to review the rule and apply it through short grammar exercises. The questions are straightforward and focus on helping students recognize the correct contracted article and use it naturally in context.
Objective
The purpose of this resource is to help students understand how French contracted articles are formed and when they should be used. By completing the exercises, learners practice identifying the correct contraction and applying it in basic French sentences.
