Busy Learning to Read Activity Packet

This is a Busy Learning to Read Activity Packet.

There are 8 pages included in this set.

The first 6 pages include the reading sentences. The last 2 pages include the pictures for students to cut out. These pictures are printed in color.

Each page is focused on its own set of 3 sentences.

Students will reach each sentence 3 times for fluency practice. Then students will use their cut out pictures to place the pictures in correct order. These pictures will represent the sentences they just read. At the bottom of the page, students will trace the spelling words.

Here are the sentences included:

Page 1: The boy is happy. He is holding the ball. The ball is big.

Page 2: The girl is excited. She has a surprise in the box. It's a puppy.

Page 3: The baby is crying. He is hungry. He wants mom to give him his bottle.

Page 4: The doctor is friendly. She gave me medicine. Then my dad took me home.

Page 5: The dog is chasing the cat. The cat ran up a tree. Then the dog went home.

Page 6: My teacher is my hero. She likes to teach us lots of new skills. She is our favorite teacher.

This activity packet is great for early finishers or small group. If you laminate this and add Velcro dots to the pictures, you will be able to use this resource over and over.
