Easter Monday Word Scramble Worksheet

Here's a word scramble activity I created for my 3rd grade class to use after Easter weekend. It's a simple 2-page PDF with 24 holiday-themed words that kids enjoy unscrambling.

The worksheet includes:

• Common Easter words like "bunny" and "egg"

• Spring terms like "bloom" and "grass"

• Celebration words like "hunt" and "basket"

I made different difficulty levels:
Easy: "hop" (3 letters)
Medium: "chick" (5 letters)
Harder: "resurrection" (11 letters)

Last year, my students did this:

• As a quiet morning activity after the holiday

• In pairs during our spring party

• While waiting for our egg drop experiment

Page 1 has the scrambled words with space for answers. Page 2 is the answer key - I keep this on my clipboard to check work quickly.

The words match what kids actually experience during Easter:

• "chocolate" (always popular!)

• "lily" (we grow these in class)

• "parade" (our town has one)
