Entrepreneurship for Kids word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

I made this entrepreneurship for kids puzzle set for my 4th graders during our career exploration and economics unit. The kids loved the idea of starting their own business, but they had no idea what words like entrepreneur, profit, or idea meant when we started talking about what it actually takes to create a business. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like entrepreneur, idea, profit, customer, product, service, business, plan, money, and goal . I also included a few like "risk" and "passion" because they kept coming up in our class discussions about what makes a good entrepreneur . Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the vocabulary finally stick.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess, and the scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "entrepreneur" (it's a tricky one) or whether an idea and a plan are the same thing (they're not—they always have opinions about it) . The crossword I use for partners or as a review, and I usually have a simple business plan template nearby for the kids who need the visual support to see how the terms are connected . I added a couple simple lightbulb, dollar sign, and handshake drawings but nothing too busy.

Works for 4th through 6th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write one business idea they would like to start on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
