Fall Picture Bingo Game | Make Your Own Bingo Boards | Grades 1-3
Feel free to bring some fall fun into your classroom with this hands-on Fall Picture Bingo Game! Students get to choose their favorite pictures, cut them out, and create their own bingo boards. Once their boards are ready, they can enjoy playing three different bingo games with their classmates.
This activity is a fun way to combine seasonal vocabulary practice, creativity, and a little friendly competition!
What's Included?
45 Fall-Themed Picture Cards: A collection of 45 fall pictures with their names printed underneath.
Bingo Boards: Blank 5 × 5 bingo boards with a FREE SPACE in the center.
Calling Cards: Calling cards for the teacher or game leader to draw and call out during the game.
Teacher Instructions: Step by step directions for preparing the activity and playing three different bingo games.
Student Instructions: Easy to follow directions for making their own bingo boards and playing all three games.
Color and Black and White Versions: Choose the version that works best for your classroom or printing needs.
How Does It Work?
Students look through the 45 fall picture cards and choose any 24 pictures they like. They cut out the pictures and paste them in any order on their bingo boards, leaving the center box as the FREE SPACE.
Since students choose and arrange their own pictures, everyone's bingo board can look different! Let the boards dry overnight, and they will be ready for the next day's bingo games.
Three Ways to Play!
The resource includes instructions for three different bingo games:
Five in a Row: Cover five boxes in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line.
Four Corners: Cover all four corner boxes on the bingo board.
Full House: Cover all 24 pictures on the board while keeping the FREE SPACE marked with a bingo marker.
The teacher draws a calling card and announces the picture name. Students listen, look for the matching picture on their boards, and cover it with a bingo marker. The first student (or students) to complete the required pattern calls out "BINGO!" The teacher checks the board to confirm the win.
