French: Fruits Memory Game

Engage your French students with this fun Fruits Memory Game. The objective is to match the 30 French fruit word cards to the corresponding picture cards. This game can be played individually or in small groups. Print the 3 pages of card pairs, laminate for durability, and use repeatedly. To play traditionally, place cards face down and flip over two at a time trying to make a match. The player with the most matches wins. Or, leave the cards face up and take turns finding pairs. If a wrong match is made, play passes to the next student. At the end, whoever matched the most cards wins. This vocabulary game allows French students to practice reading, speaking, and recognizing common fruit terms in an engaging way. Use it for whole, small group or partner practice.
