Future Simple Yes/No Questions Exercises and Answer Key

About This Product
Introduction
I made this worksheet set after working with a group of students who kept mixing up word order whenever they tried to form yes/no questions in the future tense. They understood the grammar rule well enough when I explained it, but the moment they picked up a pen, things fell apart. So I put together these exercises to give them a chance to practice the same structure over and over, in slightly different ways, until it started to click.
What Students Practice
The main focus is forming yes/no questions with will and writing short answers — both affirmative (Yes, he will.) and negative (No, she won't.). These are small things, but students get them wrong constantly, and drilling them in a low-pressure worksheet format genuinely helps.
What's in the Resource
Six exercise sections, no prep needed on your end:
Completing unfinished questions
Unscrambling words to form correct questions
Writing short affirmative and negative answers
Choosing the right option in multiple-choice questions
Finding and correcting errors in sentences
A mixed activity that combines everything above
An answer key is included so you're not spending extra time marking.
Who This Works For
I had Grades 5–8 in mind, but it works just as well for older ESL/EFL students who are reviewing the basics. It's simple enough to assign as homework or pull out as a last-minute filler activity.
Format
PDF, printable, non-editable. Print and hand it out — that's it.
