Human Impact on the Environment — Interactive Earth Day Bulletin Board
About This Product
Overview of resource:
Have fun creating an interactive Earth Day bulletin board with your upper elementary students! This resource includes 45 posters with Earth day quotes or sayings that students will adorn with a representation (using either pencil crayons, markers, or in the spirit of the occasion, use recycled materials and glue them on the poster!). Plus, each poster has a corresponding reflection worksheet where students will learn about and reflect on the human impact on the environment. To close out this activity, students will reflect on an action they will take to protect their home, our planet!
Who is this resource for?
This resource is for teachers who believe in teaching about and creating awareness about our environmental responsibility as humans, and empowering students to take action for a better tomorrow.
This resource was designed with upper elementary students in mind, but can be easily adapted for other grade levels as well.
What’s included in this resource?
This is a 95-page PDF document.
Inside it, you will find:
A lesson plan and ideas for success, including ideas for frontloading and closing out the lesson
45 Earth Day posters for students to decorate with inspirational quotes and concepts: These include quotes on different themes, for example, protecting the bees, going zero-waste, keeping our oceans clean, using green transportation, composting, etc.
