Number line game directions: players draw cards, start at 50, move and write equation on a score sheet; first to 100 wins
Teacher prep notes: read rules aloud, laminate pieces for reuse
Number line cut-out pieces for 0 to 30, marked in ones with 10 and 20 labeled, printed twice
Cut out and join with the next strips to build the game board
Number line cut-out pieces from 40 to 70 in steps of one, with 50 marked where every game begins, shown twice
Middle board segment containing the starting point of 50
Number line cut-out pieces finishing the board from 80 to 100 counted by ones, two copies, ending at the winning number
Final segment; the 100 mark is the finish line
Addition move cards, set 1: nine cards reading Jump forward 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 to add on the number line
Print on cardstock and cut apart for the draw pile
Subtraction move cards: nine cards reading Jump back 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 to count back along the number line
Mix into the pile so players also practise taking away
