National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Word Scramble – Unscramble to Understand

I created this activity for my Grade 6 class to meaningfully recognize September 30th. Students work to unscramble 24 important terms like "residential," "healing," and "Elder" – then match them to their significance in Indigenous cultures. The room got quiet when someone solved "GNIRUDTS" (survivor) and asked thoughtful questions.
