It's a genuine correct answer: the answer key marks D ('Both B and C') as correct for both questions, since B and C are mathematically equivalent (e.g., 1/4 and 3/12 for Q27), testing whether students recognize equivalent forms of the same value.
Are calculators allowed for the entire test, or only part of it?
Only part of it: calculators are permitted in Sessions 2 and 3 but not Session 1, and the teacher's guide notes calculators are not permitted at all in Grades 3-5 unless specified in a student's IEP/504 plan.
