About This Product

Are you trying to build relationships with your students and you're not sure where to start?

Start by simply writing them a friendly note to let them know you’re glad they’re in your class!

This download contains:

  • One PDF file with 8 printable pages of student notes

    • "I Love Pizza" B&W and Color

    • "I Love Sushi" B&W and Color

    • "I Love Tacos" B&W and Color

    • "I Love Cake" B&W and Color

  • 4 different images per page

  • Images are different on the B&W pages vs. the Color pages

Suggestions:

  • Print on card stock

  • Print one-sided so the back is blank

  • Write the student's name on the front of the card

  • Write the note on the back of the card

How I use these cards with my students:

•Using my class roster, I try to write one note per day to one student in each of my classes.

•I highlight student names when I write them a note to keep track of who I’ve already written to.

•I pick a type of note card that matches with something I already know about the student (favorite food, type of pet, birthday, instruments they play, etc.)

•Sometime during the class period, I discretely walk by the student and give them the note card. I just set it on their desk and walk by…that’s it!

What I write on the cards:

•Hi _______, I just wanted to let you know that I’m really glad you’re in my class this year.

•Hi _______, I love that you love tacos so much, they’re one of my favorite foods too!

•Hi _______, I think it is awesome that your favorite animal is a horse, do you think you’ll have horses when you’re older?

•Hi _______, I think it’s so cool that you play the saxophone!

•Hi _______, Happy Birthday, I hope you have an amazing day!
