Read the directions aloud before students start matching
Rounding to the nearest 100: nine cone cards to cut out with numbers 323, 986, 321, 383, 711, 580, 444, 727 and 195
First set of cone cards to print and cut for the matching game
Cut-out cone cards, set two: round 415, 679, 548, 401, 789, 462, 138, 211 and 613 to the nearest 100 to find the scoop
Second cone set; laminate both sets for reuse at a center
Hundreds scoop cards to cut out in blue, brown and pink, showing 300, 1000, 300, 400, 700, 600, 400, 700 and 200
Scoops students place on top of the matching cone
More hundreds scoop cards in pink, teal and green showing 400, 700, 500, 400, 800, 500, 100, 200 and 600 to cut out
Remaining scoops to complete the full set of matches
Color by rounding: students round 125, 411, 630, 988 and 591 to the nearest 100 and color each scoop using the color key
