"Stone Fox" Novel Study

Stone Fox Novel Study in bookmark form. Each chapter has its own double-sided bookmark and includes questions to ask before reading, after reading, and optional activities to do with each chapter. The bookmark format makes discussion prep simple: just slide the coordinating bookmark into the chapter and you're done! It’s a small handheld reference to use while you read that makes class discussions easy and manageable. I love this format because I can make the bookmarks ahead of time and place them in the book at each new chapter- then when I open it to read- all of my teacher plans and prompts are right there!

How To Use This:

Bookmarks:

Print and cut out bookmarks. Each chapter has a front and back to the chapter bookmark. Use a glue stick to lightly attach coordinating pieces. Laminate the bookmarks and then cut apart. Punch a hole in the corners and use a book ring to keep organized when not in use. Place bookmark in coordinating chapter when prepping your lessons.

Worksheets:

Each chapter has a coordinating worksheet. Print and copy desired worksheets when prepping your lessons.

The bookmarks are convenient to utilize during partner time, small group, and whole group discussions. Students will love pulling their bookmarks out and finding the correct chapter when it is time for discussion.

The worksheets can be completed independently or with a partner. You can also allow students to complete worksheets in small group with you. In doing so, you can assess their comprehension and their writing skills.
