Here is a wonderful back-to-school activity that will get your learners up and moving. This set of 20 task cards is perfect for those first few days of a new school year when you’re focusing on “getting to know you” and “all about me” activities. But they aren’t your typical task cards. They have a unique twist in that learners will pair up and ask each other questions about their partner. Once they’ve played this version of “20 Questions,” they’ll present a few fun facts about their partner to the class. By the end of the activity, all your learners will know a little bit more about each of their classmates. This product is not solely for back to school time. It can be used for English language learners, an ice breaker in counseling/therapy sessions, or for learners needing practice with social skills. The presentation portion of the activity meets ELA speaking and listening standards, as well. The cards were designed with four types of questions, including “would you rather?,” “what is your favorite?,” “this or that?,” and “howdy partner.” This product is the perfect indoor or outdoor activity and will allow your learners to get up and moving within their educational environment. All 20 cards are available in a color version, as well as a black and white version. For time and money savings year after year, laminate the task cards. Please note, both versions are identical. The answer recording page contains two ½ sheets to reduce the number of copies and ink/toner used.
