About This Product

Most kids don't resist routines because they're being difficult. They resist because the day is invisible to them. They don't know what's coming after breakfast, or after school pickup, or why suddenly they're supposed to be in the car.

Nobody showed them the map.

This printable set is ten pages. It covers morning, school, afternoon, and evening.

There's a First-Then board for when the whole day is too much and you just need them focused on the next one thing.

A Finished board for when they need to actually feel done, not just hear that they are.

And a blank chart you fill in yourself, because no two families run the same day.

The cards are for preschool and kindergarten kids at home or in a classroom.

The pictures do most of the work, so a child who can't read yet can still follow along without someone narrating every step out loud.

This helps most during the gap between breakfast and the door, or between pickup and homework, which is usually when things start unraveling.

Print on regular paper or cardstock.

You'll cut them yourself, and laminate if you want them to last. Everything is a digital download nothing ships in the mail.

Once they're up, kids can follow them on their own, or with some guidance at the start. After a few weeks, most parents say they stop having to remind their kid.

That's kind of the whole point.
