This reading comprehension activity uses decodable sentences, with words that follow the CVC spelling rule, as well as bold, easy to recognize pictures to match or sort. This AM Word Family packet includes: This resource includes as set of sentence cards that focus on AM words and early sight words. Each sentence has a colorful picture to match the sentence. How to Use this Resource: In this literacy activity, students will read each sentence on each card, and then they will match the sentence to the correct image. This activity will make a great literacy station for kindergartners and first graders who are learning CVC words and reading comprehension. This literacy activity allows students to receive tons of practice reading AM words in the context of sentences.
