Use these activities in conjunction with the Telling Time to the Hour with Tom Turkey Activities and Worksheets or as stand-alone learning games. Either way, your kiddos are going to be engaged and having fun while learning. When you purchase this product, you will add to your teacher toolbox 4 enjoyable activities. Three of the games focus on identifying both analog and digital times while matching each to their partner. If your learners are still working on identifying color words, they’ll get practice in one of the activities. The fourth game will take your learners outdoors or into the school gym to play a wild game of “What Time is it, Farmer Brown?”. Two of the activities include corresponding PowerPoint slides. Students can practice reading comprehension skills with these UB word family mats. Students can practice reading UB words in isolation and in the context of sentences. The words in this set follow a CVC or CCVC spelling pattern. Included in this resource: This resource includes one word mat and one sentence mat, both for reading UB words in insolation and in context. There are also picture cards that correspond with each word and sentence. To complete this activity, students will read each UB word or sentence on the mat and then match the corresponding pictures. Students can work independently or with a partner to complete this activity. How to Use these UB word Family Mats: The students can simply lay the images on top of the word or sentence.
