US History Bell Ringers FULL YEAR - 180 Daily Warm-Ups (Grades 6-8)
Earth Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Science, Grade 6, 7, 8, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
This is a full year of US history bell-ringers - 180 short daily prompts that give middle schoolers a steady, five-minute way to begin class. The set spans an entire survey course: Native nations before European contact, exploration and the colonies, the road to revolution and the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the early republic, westward expansion and reform, the Civil War and Reconstruction, industry and immigration, the world wars, the Cold War and the civil rights movement, and the decades since. Prompts are arranged into 36 weekly pages, each holding five days of work a teacher can hand out on Monday and collect on Friday. Every week rotates through a vocabulary term used in context, a short reading with a text-dependent question, a primary source or data set to interpret, a quick recall check, and a question that asks students to make a claim and support it with evidence, so the daily habit stays fresh. Everything is print-first: one clean PDF that copies well, uses little ink, and needs no student accounts or devices. A complete answer key and a standards page make planning and grading fast. Built for grades 6-8, it works as a daily opener, spiral review, or settle-in routine from the first week of school to the last. The routine is the point: the same five-minute opener every day, so students settle without being asked twice. It prints cleanly in black and white, which keeps a full class set cheap to photocopy. Each page stands alone, so a substitute can hand out the week without any briefing. The answer key makes grading quick, whether you collect the pages or review them together as a class. It works in person, hybrid, or remote, and fits a homeschool schedule just as well as a full classroom. No logins, no accounts, and no devices are required — just the printable PDF.

PREPOSITIONS STORY, ACTIVITY & WORKSHEETS | Pet Fish Theme
ELA, Language Development, Reading, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Kindergarten, Activities, Read Alouds, Worksheets & Printables
Pet fish, Gordon and Gabby, are eager to help your young learners practice and/or review the concept of prepositions. This product, designed for learners in Pre-K and kindergarten, aligns with language arts standards. You’ll begin this mini-unit by reading the story, A Great Day for Gordon, where your learners will meet the title character and follow along throughout his exciting journey. To reinforce concepts in the story, your learners will play the hands-on learning activity and focus on positional language with words such as in, out, under, near, far, and around. This foundational skill will lead to a better understanding in asking or answering questions about stories and reading passages. The 5 worksheets will give your learners the opportunity to strengthen fine motor skills through tracing, coloring, drawing, and writing. They will identify the locations of Gordon and Gabby using specific prepositional words and match prepositions with their opposites. To round out the worksheets, your learners will write a prepositional sentence based off a prompt and illustrate their writing. The three main components of this product are sure to engage your learners and have them wanting to hear Gordon’s story again and again. Assembly of the book and game pieces require upfront prep work, but if laminated, they can be used year-over-year, saving you time in the long run. The worksheets are print and go, and along with the story and game pieces, are available in both color and black & white versions. Use them in large and small group settings, or as an individual learning activity. Laminate the color versions of the worksheets and you’ll have a write-on/wipe-off activity for learning centers. Check out the details of the product’s components below. A GREAT DAY FOR GORDON BOOK: 15-page, fishbowl shaped story about Gordon the pet goldfish HANDS-ON PREPOSITION LEARNING ACTIVITY: game pieces (2 fish, castle, plant, treasure chest, aquarium gravel), 12 preposition cards with easy-to-read sentences WORKSHEET 1: learners will identify if the location of Gordon matches the prepositional word (coloring). WORKSHEET 2: learners will identify the location of Gabby based on the given prepositional words (circling, tracing, writing).
