Finger Puppets - Goldilocks and the three Bears - Fairy Tale With this material, you get craft templates for finger puppets for the story "Goldilocks and the three Bears". Perfect for language lessons at primary school. The students deal creatively with the story by coming up with suitable dialogues and acting out the story. The special thing about the finger puppets is that the characters show different emotions by turning the finger puppets or change according to the narrative. The finger puppets are suitable for language lessons in grades 1, grades 2, grades 3, grades 4, grades 5 and grades 6. The finger puppet templates are available in two versions: one in color and one in black and white. You can decide for yourself whether you want to use the time-saving or printer-friendly version. The students can design the black and white templates themselves, for example. With the colored templates, you can quickly create a finger puppet set that you can give to the students to play with. To store it in the binder, the students can make a bag. For the finger puppet show, I have also added suitable backdrops. The students can also design and use their backdrops for their finger puppet show. Music around the World - My Musical World Journey - Passport & Profile This passport accompanies a series of lessons or a year-long project on music around the world or through Europe. Profiles: The students deal with music, songs, and dances from different countries and record important information, impressions, and thoughts about the music they have heard in a profile: Continent Title/Artist Style Typical Instruments Particularities Star rating (1-5) The flag in the wanted poster can be painted, or the colored variant can be used. In addition, there is a blank template without predefined country names and flags. Travel to the Arctic with your 2nd graders and 3rd graders as they learn about the unique adaptations of animals that live there. This product is a great addition to your life science curriculum and focuses on several cross curricular standards. Your learners will strengthen their science, reading, writing, and critical thinking skills all while comparing and contrasting animals from various habitats around the world. On the first three pages you’ll find brief paragraphs about 8 Arctic animals, as well as animals from the desert, wetlands, and rainforest. Each paragraph explains specific adaptations unique to each animal and presents learners with new vocabulary. Following the informational reading, your learners will use one of three differentiated worksheets to list adaptations for animals that call the Arctic their home. Designed in a scaffolded format, this product enables your learners to build upon previously learned information. After listing adaptations of only Arctic animals, they will move on to list adaptations for both Arctic and non-Arctic animals. This activity will lead to your learners to use the information for a brief writing assignment in which they will compare and contrast animals from different habitats, focusing mainly on their adaptations. They’ll round out the writing activity by illustrating their work. These print and go worksheets will save you time and give your learners a deeper understanding of grade level life science concepts. Subtract by bridging through 100 up to 1000 - A Mental Strategy

Bridging through 100s helps students in a number of ways: It makes subtraction with large numbers feel much easier because they are broken down into smaller numbers according to their place value and dealt with one step at a time. It helps in the understanding of place value as students think about tens and ones separately. It's excellent for developing mental math skills It provides an alternative strategy to using the standard method or algorithm. You have a choice of four sets of worksheets. The first set contains subtraction questions where the first and second numbers are multiples of 10, so the focus here is on the bridging of a multiple of 100 in the simplest form. The second set contain the same range of numbers as above. but now the worksheets are presented in a way that students can either continue with the visual format of the previous two sets or choose how to present their workings demonstrating their understanding of subtraction through bridging. The third set has the first number a multiple of 10, whilst the second number is a number between 11 and 99 with the questions laid out in a visual format that emphasizes the bridging through 100. The fourth sets contain the same range of numbers as above. but now the worksheets are presented in a way that students can choose how to present their workings demonstrating their understanding of addition through bridging. This isn’t just any other phonics product where learners practice short vowel sounds with CVC words. Within the pages of this product, you’ll find an interactive reader that will take your learners on an adventure with Tom and Bob. As they read through the book, not only will they strengthen their skills in identifying “short o” words, but they’ll also have the opportunity to make the book their very own. On each page are a set of instructions for readers to color or draw added features to the story. This helps them practice reading color words and identify prepositions. Best of all, they’ll be given a sense of ownership into their learning, causing them to be excited and engaged. Most words in the book are CVC words. An added challenge of reading “blends”is also included. Once your learners have reached the end of the book, they can move on to answer comprehension questions and work on other phonics focused material. Two hands-on learning games are included also. Upon completion of the worksheets and activities, you can present your learners with a crown that they can proudly wear to show others the ELA skills they’ve learned. To save you time, the worksheets in this product are print and go. With minor prep work, the learning activities can be used multiple times, year over year. An answer key is provided also. Below are details of each page included in this product. PAGES 1-2: flash cards with short o words found within the reader. PAGES 3-8: Tom and Bob reader (basic {not interactive} version) PAGES 9-14: Tom and Bob reader (interactive version) PAGE 15: learners will answer reading comprehension questions about the Tom and Bob reader. PAGE 16: learners will draw lines between matching short o CVC words. PAGE 17: learners will read CVC words and color the dog bones that show short o CVC words. PAGE 18: learners will work their way through the maze by coloring the lily pads that show short o CVC words. PAGE 19: learners will cut out pictures of CVC words and sort them into the appropriate boxes. After sorting, learners will glue the pictures into the appropriate boxes. PAGE 20: on the provided lines, learners will write “ob” and “og” word family words. PAGES 21-22: in this hands-on learning activity , learners will sort short o and non-short o words found on Tom’s dog bones.
