About This Product

Get those fingers working with these Acorn Fine Motor Counting Cube worksheets. Students will be challenged to use counting cubes to build different objects associated with acorns and squirrels.

What is included:

There are six different worksheets for students to build acorn and squirrel themed objects. The cards include building 2 acorns, a squirrel, 1 different trees, a fall forest scene.

How to Use:

Students will choose one of the acorn themed worksheets. They will use their counting cubes to complete each themed image. Students will then trace the word at the bottom of the place.

When to Use:

  • Fine Motor Center - The worksheets and blocks can be placed in a fine motor center for students to complete together or with a partner during center time.

  • Morning Tubs - These worksheets and blocks can be put inside a morning basket for students to work on while waiting for classmates to arrive to class.

  • Quiet Time Activity - This activity works well for students who do not nap. Once classmates are asleep, students can work quietly building the shapes on these worksheets.

The worksheets in this set are a no-prep, print and go, activity. The worksheets just need to be printed and handed to the student. If desired, they can be laminated for durability and reuse. Once made, the teacher just needs to add the counting cubes to the worksheets and the center is all set. The worksheets can be placed inside a page protector to protect the worksheet so multiple students can use the same one.

Skills Assessed:

  • This activity helps build up fine motor skills by putting together and taking apart the cubes.

  • This activity determines if students can look at and copy an image using cubes.

  • This activity determines if students can match colors by making sure they choose the correct colored cubes according to the picture.
